Our Response:

    This poll had various reasons behind it like the previous one   The first was to decide what to do for our Winter Special this year and the second was to get a feel of what our fans want to see. Unfortunately we all have been busy with the holidays, seeing family, shopping and all that other fun stuff that comes with it that we were not able to release a Winter Holiday release, YET.  There are some works in progress that will cater to these poll results and released shortly.  Thanks for your participation everyone! - Dari-kun

Our Response:

    This poll had various reasons behind it.  First and foremost, it has shown us that our fanbase is indeed mostly boys.  We would love to have it an equal split so we shall work towards favoring both sexes.  I am not the least bit surprised that "Boy (Gay)" was our top-ranking fan base, primarily due to the material we work with.  However, I am pleasantly surprised to see that we have a nice amount of straight boys that visit the site as well as both straight and gay females (which was a tie).  I would love to get an even more diverse audience to our site.  Thank you to all of you whom participated - this information was needed and will help us determine what we need to do to attract more fans from all genders and sexual orientation.  Here at Hataraki Bachi Busy Bee Translations we do not hold one over the other, we love you all equally because you are our loyal fans and visitors.  Until next time, take care friends! - Dari-kun

    I'm very happy to see more and more people participating in the polls!  The purpose for this post was to see what our fans are interested the most and least.  I see that there are categories that I didn't think would score high.  This post will help decide if a particular piece should be done or not.   All polls have a purpose ^_^

    This poll's title was mixed up and I didn't realize it until after the fact.  It should have been either "Do you own" or "Would you share your scans" not both.  In hindsight it was a big mistake and probably confused many people.  I apologize for that and thanks to all those that did participate.

Our Response:

    Thanks to everyone that participated in this poll during our long second down time.  The outcome of this poll was pretty much expected. However, it was something that was needed to be checked again as our fan base changes. 

    I'm surprised that someone did not know what a Genre is, briefly to explain;
    In short a Genre is a niche, such as a particular sub-section of a type of media.  The term is used for music, anime, video games and anything else that has specific types of something.  For example - In music, a Genre would be Rock, another would be Disco and so on.  In our world, Genre's are pertaining to specific types of adult anime.  Shota is the Genre for boy based material; Loli is for girl based material; Hentai is for adult based material (no younger characters).  Nearly all the material here is adult based so I needed to clarify that when "x based material" is used - it is meant in the manner of characters and content.

   I'm also amazed that we have a lot of unsure votes, but that's a great thing as is the Loli count, that's why I gave Loli and honorable mention as most of our material is shota based but our team, myself included (and I'm gay) like Loli as well despite the fact most of our releases are Shotacon based.  Also, I guess Hentai is out since no one likes it, however that does not mean that we will not do Hentai translations as artists such as Uchouten have some really cute and neat hentai material!
  With that all said, I thank everyone that participated again and hope that participation in the voting system increases as your votes count, that is a serious point, we do keep in mind every single poll, that's partly why this section exists, for us and for those that are interested in the counts and our responses.

Well, it's pleasing to see "Heck yeah" was the highest vote.  A bit saddening that the second highest category is the "Nah, you took to long."  This is to be expected as it has been a long time since the blog has been updated and anything released not to mention that nearly all of our links are down which is still being handled check (Check for blog post soon with some releases soon after :x ) The number of votes alone tell me that we have lost quite a substantial fan-base but fear not, while the lines have been down, our work hasn't so there is a lot to come soon!

The answer to this type of poll is always Shota on top XD but it gives us a good idea of what our visitors want to see.  Apparently, Older x Shota is second popular but there is also a strong pull for Yaoi too.  Plus there are a few that just cant decide on what they wanted to vote on, that's me btw XD I love all doujinshi.  5 People voted for "I dislike all doujinshi" XD those 5 make me wonder ... if you don't like doujinshi then why come to a doujinshi based group?
