Intro/Update Info:

Hey friends!  Our 79th Release here and it is just absolutely wonderful!  It is one of the best shota stories I have read in a very very long time, it is a complex love story with more than one twist towards the end.  Everyone who likes shota will absolutely in love with this story and to top it off it is by Hoshia Hiro.  The story has three (3) parts - the first part is in complete color and gorgeous!  This story is an excerpt from: Otokonoko Heaven vol. 5 which was just released at the end of last month ;)

Blog Update:

     (1) There have been more terms added to the  Terminology Section.
     (2) We have more projects in final stages and more new releases are coming very soon!  You should all know how we do~ ... A couple of weeks with nothing and then some awesome books! XD  Sorry to all of our loyal fans but thank you for your return, comments and support!

About The Author:

Hoshia Hiro, also known as the primary (if not only) member of the circle 'Kuruguru DNA', is one of the few legendary Shota artist that have been around for so long and are still producing amazing work.  His work varies from complex to simple as well as clean to pervy.  The amount of work he has worked on is almost incomprehensible.  Hiro's artstyle specializes in moe characters, while he has done a decent amount of Loli and Straight Shota his primary for of genre is shota.  To see some of his other work check out the lexicon entries.  For more information and special items check out Hiro's blog listed below.

Brief Summary:

This is a three part story with the first being in full color as stated above and the whole story is uncensored.  The plot revolves around two shota's, Snow who is to be the Black lord's wife for 150 days as part of a debt his father owed to the Lord.  The lord is a wolf-eared boy and snow a cat-eared boy.  The story is rather complex and has some cool twists so I won't spoil much.  The only other thing I will say is that you will love this story, with it's twists and turns and the main theme of the story is love and you can never go wrong with love =D  Oh, and it has lotsa naughtyness! =)

Hi guys, a friend shared this book with me recently and i'm so impressed to see such a great Hoshiai Hiro story translated, it was really sweet!

I have a major problem though, i hope you can explain to me the reason and I mean this with sincere respect, I've noticed quite a lot of scans have been really terrible quality lately, it looks like the colour pages especially have been destroyed in photoshop after scanning and then someone is resaving after english editing which bloats the original poor/low-resolution making it much worse. I know because i have been months cleaning scans for previously mentioned friend and can tell.

Hiya Zan ^_^

It's nice to see you again, and glad you liked the story. I always thought the artist was fantastic, and her work is always some of the best material out there...well, at least I thought so. ^^

As for your question, I'll try to answer that as best I can. For this story, this was not our scans originally, but I wouldn't say by any means they were bad scans either. I think the scans lately that you are referring to is more about you getting more involved in the cleaning process (as you say you have been doing it for months now). So, it's not that they are bad LATELY, you are just more experienced now in how original scans are modified and changed throughout the processes. So, you may find better ways it should look, and techniques to preserve the quality that you didn't notice (or even care about) before. So, I don't think the quality of the scans have changed much lately, but perhaps your eyes have become more clear since you have become involved in cleaning scans yourself. ^^

There are several reasons why scans are reduced in quality over the scanning, cleaning, editing, and translation process. Sometimes, quality is reduced for convenience and easy of access (e.g. reduction in file size for uploading/downloading), other times it is blatantly done to preserve the difference between purchasing/owning a real copy of the book vs. just getting it freely digitally, and yes, sometimes it's because the person scanning/editing/cleaning the work is just not aware of the best way to keep the scans the best they can be. There's also the quantity vs. quality factor (e.g. time restraints), even in the world of manga/doujinshi scanning. There's equipment and software choices, software filters, etc...the list can keep going on and on.

As a scanner for a couple of years now, I know that I try my best to make the scans legible to readers, and make sure people can actually see what is happening in the story. If I can do that and keep the scans reasonable (e.g. I don't need one 30-page book to be 100MB, when it can be easily 10MB and readers be able to see/read it), then I think that is great for both scanners and fans. ^_^

Hope that answered your question, friend ^^

Hiya tinman~ ^_^

No need to apologize, buddy! I can understand the confusion about this.

There was an announcement about Genkiforum being down for sometime, but it was so sudden that I'm sure some members didn't see it. Genki is currently down due to upgrading and maintenance at the moment, which should take about a week. Hopefully, the site will be back up and running soon though.

Tinman, you'll be happy ot hear that the forum you seek is back up and running after the downtime, the server was comprimised amongst other things. It is the same address except add a .org to the end of it instead, it's a new format too <3 ;)
