Hey friends! This is a something a little different than our usual material. For the most part we stick to anime and Japanese based material but for this one particular instance, for the holidays, I wanted to share these Winter and Christmas Precious Moments set, I found it on a Japanese site but this series is primarily a Western thing. They are really cute and will bring some warmth to your heart this holiday season! Even though these images are extremely cute, don't worry, we'll have an anime based holiday set soon!

are you f-in kidding me? this is nothing but religious christian propaganda. this is supposed to make everyone feel better this holiday? being fed religious images, the same religion that caused the death of thousands of homosexuals since the beginning of faith? way to go. Or do you guys not remember leviticus, the disgusting passages of the bible that make up christianity, cant just hand pick the ones you like and still call yourself christian.

I'm sorry you seem so bitter over these images Dari-kun posted, which I'm sure he did very much intend to be a nice gift for people during the holiday season. However, as you pointed out, some people have a tendency to see things differently; much like we view shota/loli works as harmless, whereas people will argue that they promote child abuse, molestation, and rape. So, let's talk about what you said, and please remember I'm not trying to attack you, but rather discuss some of the things you stated. So, please don't be offended, though I know that can be hard for people to do sometimes.
The book of Leviticus is the third book in the "Hebrew Bible", part of the Torah, and considered by many christians as part of the "old testament/covenant". Like a lot of other things, the acceptance of this text is debatable among the various christain groups, and some followers don't even recognize any/or all of the old testament/covenant as applicable to their faith. So, you can't say that makes up christianity, as that would not only be a little misleading, but in some cases a complete falsehood.
I'm not going to argue that christians killed a lot of people (heterosexuals, homosexuals, bisexuals, etc...). They probably did, as did a lot of other groups (religious or not). People shouldn't be judged and generalized on their religious or non-religious beliefs, but rather on their actions and interactions with others. Again, like so many other groups of people, you can find good and bad examples. It's best not to be so generalized about it though; Example: All shota/loli fans are child molesters and rapists.
Again, I'm sorry you didn't like the set, and it didn't get the intended reaction that the poster meant for you. However, I think your statements have their own dangerous propaganda, one that promotes a sense of hatred based on misinformation.
Sometimes it's best to look at things in simple terms, and not look so deep down for things that may or may not exist. I took a look over the set, and there are some very religious depictions (nativity scene for example) in here. However, just like with the material we post here often, it might be best if you just focus on the intended "cuteness" of the character designs and scenes, instead of focusing on what the artist may or may not promote (because it's always difficult to say what that is unless you talk to the artist themselves).
Main point: Don't be so bitter! ^_^

Being a person that studies scripture in depth, especially books, grimoires and documents no later than 17th century. But please remember, there ARE texts in the bible that do promote homosexuality. I forgot the second person at hand but when John's "lover" dies he even admitted it in the bible that he loved him like no woman could ever love someone.
The set wasn't posted as Christian Propoganda to offend - it was posted because it was Christmas, a Christian holiday and a cute set. Again, it is my apologies that you feel so violated, there IS an anime set coming too but if it features shota in Christian scenes - is that just as 'bad' as this set?
There's no debate on the word of God idiots. You can't hand pick from the "word of God" and still call yourself a follower of that God. Saying one book is true and the other false is definition blasphemy.
Also, Christmas is a holiday that was taken over by Christianity, if you knew anything about the history of the holiday it has nothing to do with any of the twisted views of today. Materialism and religious propagation.
How about we look into the bible about what it says about looking at a child with sexual intention.

You keep saying you can't hand pick what the "word of God" is, but that's kind of how they formed the bible in the first place! XD
Some leaders within the community got together a couple of times over the course of 100s of years and debated on what was to be included and what was to be thrown out. Google it and see...you'll find there isn't even consensus on how that all came about! Therefore, if they did it back then, I don't really see why they can't do it now. ^^
Since I am not a Christian and haven't been to Sunday School in a long time, I could be mistaken, but I don't think God created Adam and left him with a copy of the bible. Maybe that's what some Christians believe, but the ones I have talked to don't.
You say not accepting ALL the texts of the bible are blasphemy, but that's not for you to decide now is it? If Christians thought the same about issues such as this, then there wouldn't be such diversity (e.g. creeds, catholic vs. protestant, etc...), right? I think you are trying too hard to put all the Christians under one banner because it's easy for you to justify your prejudice and hate of them. You really shouldn't do that.
As for Christmas being taken over by Christianity, I assume you mean from the numerous pagan celebrations centered around the Winter Solstice? Many of these rituals involved gift-giving, drinking, and worshiping various gods. So, you are upset that Christians took over pagan holidays that contained materialism and religious propagation...and replaced it with the same thing? ^^;;;
Now, onto an important point that you mentioned. I am not aware of a passage in the bible that condemns looking at a child with a sexual intention specifically (there are passages where it's said it's okay to steal little virgin girls that were from enemies of god for yourself or something like that...see Numbers 31:1-18). I don't need the bible though in this case, because I personally feel that is something that is wrong. Wait, WHAT?!
Yep, I do believe that this is wrong for various reasons. Now, you may think that me viewing shota/loli material (doujinshi, games, etc...) is contradictory to this personal belief or "blasphemy". I would say that I also believe that yanking some old lady out of a car, beating her with a pipe, and stealing said car is wrong too. However, I'm pretty sure I did that one time while playing the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The point being is that I can clearly define, appreciate, and understand what is fictional and fantasy versus what is real. It is my sincerest hope that other shota/loli fans share the same sentiment.
