MangaMeeya7 - An Awesome Manga/Doujinshi Reader

(REVISED: 14/09/05)

Mirror Link

Ever wish there was a way to view your Manga/Doujinshi in an easy high-quality fashion?

That's what MangaMeeya7 is for!

It works on Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows XP, Windows 8 & Windows 8.1

NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT OF ANY SORT IT IS JUST SHARING FREEWARE SOFTWARE WITH OUR FANS; WE WOULD NEVER CHARGE NOR ADVERTISE ANYTHING ON THIS SITE.

The official link is at the bottom of this post, if the information here doesn't cover your questions just look at their homepage for answers.

MangaMeeya displays your books by front cover and let's you read them the way nature intended - in high quality!  You can even organize your doujinshi and set bookmarks so you can separate them into categories such as "Shota" or "Loli" etc. etc.  All you have to do is click the cover of the book you want to read =)

To get the most out of this reader have your books categorized so all you have to do is load one folder and see all the options.  However, this program is very versatile and simple but also has complex features.  Meaning you can load one book at a time or 30+.

This Manga/Doujinshi reader allows you to read a story with full sized images and is easily maneuverable using the mouse and directional pad.

It's takes up little to no room on your hard drive at a mere 13MB.  I made an easy to read and use instruction set (with pictures) for installation which has been included in the .RAR zip file.

If you think you don't need this program and that CDisplay or Windows Image Viewer is sufficient, your a silly silly person, give this program a shot - so far to date, it blows all other Manga/Doujinshi readers out of the water!

There isn't much else I can say because it's all explained in the Installation Instructions so please enjoy this treasure that was bestowed upon us!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask us on the comments part of this post and we will do our very best to help you with your problem.

With love,
Worker Bee

Note: We did not create this software, we simply got it from ( http://www.mydailymanga.com/2008/06/21/manga-reading-tool/ ) and shared it with you here =)

i have about 1800 rars, zips, ect in one folder on xp.

the program that i currently use is, acdsee pro and the newest version pro 4.

pro crashes alot and wont start up all the time, a flaw in the program, and after 50-70 chapters of reading it needs to restart because ot all the ram its eating, but its fast.

acdsee pro 4, it doens't have the crash problems that pro (8) and 9 had, but its slower, and can delete folders in rars and zips (something that pro cant do, i dont think.

if you want my honest opinion, those programs, even with their flaws, beat the crap out of your program. but i see ALLOT of potential here, and if you are still reading i will list off a few features that i would love to see implemented in a future version.

ok first thing is first. let me get an detail view on the right side and on the left, have a folder view, and a prievew. i believe this is how acdsee defaults its view, but it is a great setup.

let the default keys be page up and down for going through pages, when i press down or up arrow, let that go just as far up or as far down as i press it for.

make sure that when you are inside of an rar or zip, you cant press delete accidentally and the files are gone for good, make sure its a disabled feature, its the main flaw in acdsee 4.

your program is stupidly fast, but the page flip animation... i suggest that you make that an optional thing. as its a bit annoying, im use to pages taking a few seconds to load, especial like saha ts i love you 4, which is about 2mb an image inside of a rar.

an easy slider for thumbnail size adjustment, in explorer mode

the program to remember what more i am in, so when i press enter, i go into a rar, and when i find an image inside i press enter again and it foes to image, than when i press back space it only goes back one level. not completely out of the rar.

a way to drag and drop files, not just cutting and pasting them. and not being able to mode archives into other archives, that is an annoying feature of acdsee 4, onlt from folder to folder drag and drop.

and lastly a way for the program to remember the last folder i was in appon exit. so i dont have to keep regoing to the folder i want to go to when i re open it.

i really see potential in this program, otherwise i would have never bothered writing all of this. so far this is the most advanced program i came across that was free and is so close to overtaking a program like acdsee.

and thank you in advance if you take any of what i wrote into consideration.

and seriously kudos on getting the program to run that fast.

Hello Alidan,

For answering you, I would like first to thank you for providing such a detailled comment. I am sure that people who will read your comparaison between Acdsee and MangaMeeya will give a try to at least one of this software.

For correcting a little our WorkerBee, he was probably a little too enthousiastic when he made the post (perhaps a little too marketing :p).

For adding a little to your observation :
- Manga Meeya is a software that I discovered more or less by chance, because I wanted to find a solution to my 1.000 stories folder organization. I was looking for a free software, not a demo product or shareware that work only 1 month. It happens that MangaMeeya often appeared as a good solution in different manga boards.
- MangaMeeya is certainly not a perfect program, as you said, the scrolling folder is just not working good at all. Anyway, there is no perfect software in Computer Science, there is always something that it is not working well and so on.
- As for the comparaison with Acdsee, I will say that ManagaMeeya is free, so it is really like comparing Photoshop & theGimp (the 2 main image software manipulation) or Windows & Linux (Ubuntu). There is always pro and con when you choose one of them, so really the best solution is to try and see what do you like or dislike in the software. My point is that there is probably no final answer for saying that this software is the best compared to an other.

Regards, Hany.

I believe there has been a misunderstanding Alidan, we did not create the programming, just sharing it, infact I meant to put their link in the post,
