Dari, you picked some cute shotas for your portion of this pack. Some of them I have never seen before which might even include two of the Honda Suruga images.

The whole point of my set was for it to be mostly new pics and stuff, it took a lot of preparation to get that pack together let alone to translate the titles, comments and to do the edits as well. So that proposed a big problem, new christmas stuff doesn't come out until Christmas XD and to have a set ready by Christmas was hard (I was still working on it Christmas Eve/Morning but I didn't have much time)
The Nekoya pics, some are old, but I removed the tags she had on them and just left her blog link on them. Two of them were anniversary images but you can't tell once it's removed with the bells and ribbons. Honda Suruga is an artist like Takenokoya that does annual christmas pics but you pretty much have to wait until christmas XD.
I translated a couple of the Suruga's but I left the one's "Marry Christmas" as they were and those were the new ones. As they were Suruga's attempt at trying to use English XD and thought it was kinda comical. I really wonder if Suruga did the misspelling on purpose. In the old one, his Japanese he used katakana and spelt it right-ish (MERIー) XD. The japanese find it fashionalble to put english words on things that don't make sense, especially their tennis rackets but that's kind of unrelated but I'm sure the misspelling is on purpose. Just as we think leaving/using Japanese characters is "cool, new and/or modern," the Japanse feel the exact same way.
As I was saying before though, most of the images were new, a lot of them are from new, up and coming artist's too. I tried to translate the names the best I could but it's hard especially if they're not in the lexicon below. Which by the way, is only as good as we make it, if you have a book that's not there, add it in ;) But as of late, it's even amazing-er (XD) than when it first opened.

I also made the "Special Set 1" which included authentic comments from the artist that they posted with their images. (Some make poor references to stuff we don't know about but most aren't) I've also made sure to include links to their blogs, websites, pixiv so people that enjoy that artist's work may go check out more.
Believe me, I chose a few images from each artist that I knew I had time to do, but most of the artists in that part of the set are (on my pixiv grading scale) between 3-5 stars (in my pixiv bookmarks I label artist name /shota or loli / then use a star rating system.
With that being said, check out some of the homepages and especially the pixiv, there are more christmas pics that I didn't have time to edit or translate. See the there was a lot of awesome pics the day before christmas eve released (as it was christmas eve for the Japanese, they're 24 hours ahead of me) but it didn't leave enough time to do everything I wanted to and I hate doing shotty work. I wanted to do quality tranlation/edits .. so I could have rushed it and did a million more and did crappy work, or do an image or two somewhat nicely and link you all to the rest at the same time providing you guys with a chance to check out some cool pixiv's and websites. (all of which should work, you may have to join FC2B (sp?) blog group for a few, but it's worth it to fill out the form and make a screen name, heck you can even make a blog too if ya wanted.

So my friend and friends,
I hope I was able to offer you a little insight as to why I chose to do things the way I did. I had to include some old pics as you can see but the main point was to do new artists and really just find the cutest christmas pics that I could do within the time frame I had all the while trying to keep my real life things in tact.
The rest of the team has been very busy with personal obligations this past week and myself too but I felt it was an obligation to provide our fans and visitors with a little treat and I am super greatful that Rae-san and Hokutomaru participated too by making their OWN drawings to share, (They're quite good artists, ne?)
** I didn't mention it above but Boutoku offered help with the a few things and I will change the credits above momentarily, he sent me towards the Suruga pics and then I found some un-translated ones on my hard drive ergo, thanks to Boutoku I was able to make that part of the set.
Thanks for posting a comment my friend, I really appreciate it, and I really hope you and everyone find/found some enjoyment from this set. It wasn't easy and my bf wasn't happy when I was on computer Christmas morning then afternoon (when we were sposed to be leaving for dinner) buttt .. he just has to deal with it. This group and this website mean a lot to me and I feel obliged to do what I can for you all, fans and teammates alike, whenever I can!

I wanted to tell you my friend, if I haven't accepted your friend request on msn, please resend it. Use your tag here in the description so I know it's you. I have been getting fake requests with similar names to friends I have ... I dunno how that happened but it's kind of odd, so no personal messages = no acceptance XD I believe we're good to go though. I'm off of school for winter break for a month (minus 4 days) so I'll be around for chatting finally, especially during the next 4 days as I will be home dealing with a difficult medical treatment that's going to incapacitate me (Yay XD)

Sorry Azin, thank you for bringing that to my attention. I don't know the series personally and there is so many references to different anime that it's hard to pinpoint what show a picture may be from. Especially since she had it tagged under the series 'Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei' on her pixiv, I just assumed. Maybe it's a cross-over or something. Sorry for the mistake :/

When I saw you on msn on the 27th you were marked busy. I messaged you while you were busy and you signed out with no reply. Later on that day you signed in and signed out.
The last time you said you would be available for talking you on msn you ended up not being.

Perhaps it's just a misunderstanding on my part? Or that we both have different hours, which can very well be, particularly if you're an early morning person. I'm not an early morning person unless I have insomnia that keeps
me awake well past sunrise. Or perhaps we just keep missing each other on msn? I do sign my messengers out when I game. After I'm done gaming I do sign my messengers back in.
Could the msn server being showing us not online to one and/or both of us?
