Blog Update - 03/29/2012 - Important News & Update + 3/31 Update

Hello Friends!  Dari-kun here!  

     (Wow a green post not blue it must be important! Teehee~) If anyone has been stopping by this evening by  noticing changing colors and random odd things happening it is because our Hatarakibachi: Busy Bee Translation Blog is getting some desperate medical attention.  Blogger had offered us some new wonderful options to improve or organization and in the long run there is going to be some wonderful things to do here.  While everything planned will not be finalized tonight there IS something good coming a little while after the "surgery"

This will (and has) been taking place since 5:00PM and will last until about 12:00PM 4/1 (EST) {Latest}.  Please Forgive Any Inconveniences this may cause. 

     We have some wonderful news about releases coming right after the updates.  Right now we have our shota nurses doing some medical work on the aesthetics and functionality of the Blog (really it's just me  with some cute helpers, they don't do much but they're explaining to you guys what's going on.)

    Due to unforeseen circumstances and uncertainty I have taken the liberty to keep the blog alive for ever.  Most of the team, including myself have been extremely busy with school and our personal lives that the blog and website have been getting neglected.  It is my personal goal to maintain the blog from dying while also keeping the website alive which is more of Hany's thing, some people like the website better and some like the blog better.  So why not keep both so everyone is happy?  My plan is for the blog to be the silly, fun place it has been and that you guys have come to love and the website will be more of a storage, home base, and professional part of our group.  It's basically an expansion of our scanlation services to fit the needs of all anime, manga and doujinshi fans.  

Some future things to look forward to are; 

a) Translated Image Sections (for those one or two images not worth zipping or don't belong to a full set)    

b) More Worksafe and Naughty Anime/Manga based translations and image packs (read tomorrow's post for samples.) If everything goes as planned there should even be a release tomorrow too!

c) We will also have an Anime Convention section added to the blog where you can view rare items and images from the latest anime conventions!  (Sorry, any books in English will not be posted unless it is permitted by author.

d) A better format for the blog making it more functional and user friendly, doujinshi will be easily accessible by artist, series as well as a few other options.  Also this latest poll is going to really  matter this time around, we will try to adhere to the more voted on topics such as yaoi and yuri if applicable.

e) Remember this is for you guys, our fans, feedback is important, if you think something is useless or could be done for suggestion just comment on one of the post, as you should know I reply to almost ALL posts ;)

f) There is A LOT of surprises coming, so please, keep your RSS feed ready and be prepared for some cool stuff coming very soon.

g) Also we are taking short stories for the Easter Holiday, under 10 pages please but exceptions can be made (depends if my book comes in mail) image sets, doujinshi and yomikiri are all acceptable even random bunny shota images.  The only requirements is that they are JAPANESE, and not stolen from pay websites nor already translated.  We do not accept deviant art images either, unless you are the owner and they meet our teams requirements.  If you want us to consider something, reply to this post with the title of the book or anthology + page #'s, a link to the items is highly reccomended, however if it's an image set from pixiv that you want translated for Easter, it is YOUR responsibility to gather the images and compress them into a zip-type file.  (We dont have time to do that for you, sorry) 

h) Also, the idea is being considered of a review section of books related to our material that have been produced in English professional and are currently for sale, by purchasing books from reputable sites related to our Genres we can help convince the publishers to consider printing more books.  There will be screen shots and all sorts of things.  Here's a hint, a cute, legal in all areas book is Mako Takahashi's- Almost Crying - It's an extremely cute MOE shota love tankouban of some of the cutest shota's in English print.  I highly recommend it!  There are others though and we will mention them too!

Now let it be known, not everything is going to happen right away, I will have a set to post tomorrow and the final layout will be finished tomorrow as well.

UPDATE FOR 3/31:

I will be attending an anime convention tomorrow so expect some stuff from AnimeNext 2011 and I-con 31 within the next few days as well as some shota convention material (Hint Hint: The Convention Section Will Open Soon)

Real life keeps us busy at times but there will be a massive release coming this week withing the next few days to celebrate our "Blog Surgery"
