Brief Summary:
Hey friends! This book is absolutely cute and wonderful! Takase Yuu and his Circle Studio Rakkyou has to be one of the most diverse artists, they cover shota and loli and the artwork of each book is absolutely stunning! I love working on these books and we really hope that you find enjoyment out of this book in Particular. (I have yet to meet a fan of the genres that has had something bad to say about this artist.
This book "Faulklin's (Secret) Picture Diary" takes place in the early days of February and ends on Saint Valentines Day. The main character, Faulklin, is from a Role Playing Game (RPG) on the Playstation 2 Console. Faulklin is a cross between a shota and kemo-shota - he looks more of a regular Shota but he has a few dog features (Such has his lil' button nose and fluffy tail). It works really well and he is extremely cute, as you can see from the cover pic above. The best description for him would be a naive dog-boy.
The layout of this book is a bit original and something you do not see too often. It is written in the First-Person Perspective and it's Faulklin writing his experiences over the course of two weeks to assemble something special for the upcoming holiday for his crush Ami-chan. Each page is an entry into his personal 'secret' diary. For a shota that really loves a girl he sure takes a lot of "abuse" from older males, he seems to enjoy it too. Ami-chan does not make an appearance of this book and I sure didn't mind. Each page consists of a sexually graphic image and a paragraph explaining the events of his day and what the picture represents. Each page is split into two parts, the top part is your average doujinshi panel with dialog and SFX and the bottom half is Faulklin's journal entry. This book is almost entirely Shota x Older Male / Shota x Demon Male. I really don't want to spoil the plot. So, if you are a fan of Takase Yuu [Studio Rakkyou] work or even just a fan of Shining Force EXA - I highly recommend that go and read this book. It's a lot of fun and it's a fun change of pace from your average paneled doujinshi.
I did notice something funny on the last page of the book, there is a Colophon section the Circle added, it says: 'Printing : Company Copy Machine' I thought that was a funny little addition. On the other hand it makes me wonder if this is a copybook that was released during a special event

Many thanks guys. Just a small heads-up, the archive contains two copies of the doujin, identical apart from the name of the directory.
Thank you for saying thank you JukanX, it's greatly appreciated. I fixed the archive, thank you very much for bringing that to our attention. No one is perfect and sometimes silly errors occur, especially when one is rushing to get something out. It's been a bit since our last release so I was rushing, I don't know how that happened but my apologies for doing that. I hope you enjoy(ed) the book! =)
I never thought I'd see any of the excruciatingly few SF doujins scanlated. As always, amazing work, thank you <3!
Now to write that terrible smut I've been thinking about for months.
Saffron, It made my day to hear that you appreciated the Shining Force scanlation. To be honest, my favorite books to scanlate are ones that are based on video-games, it's a lot of fun, check out or next update and you might see something else you like coming soon!
